Administration Team

As an Admin volunteer you will be providing excellent community service and support by answering email enquiries. This role can be done from home, and suited to your schedule.
Requirements:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be proactive and take the lead responding to enquiries
  • Must have a passion in addressing the overpopulation of feral cats in the GTA
  • Basic understanding and knowledge of TNR is an asset
  • Must be able to commit 10-20 hours of your time per month

Workshop Instructor

Are you a teacher? Or maybe just looking to hone your presentation skills? As a trainer you will be required to facilitate 6-8 Trap-Neuter-Return training sessions per year to the public. We run our workshops monthly and move them throughout the GTA, so access to a car is preferred. Requirements:

  • Previous experience designing and leading training programs
  • Ability to facilitate and initiate group discussions
  • Basic understanding and knowledge of TNR is an asset
  • Must have a passion in addressing the over population of feral cats in the GTA
  • Must be able to commit 5-10 hours of your time per month

Event Registration Coordinator

Join our Event planning team and assist us in sourcing, booking, and promoting our Trap-Neuter-Return workshops. Help those signing up for the course get registered and answer general questions.
Requirements:

  • Must be proficient in Excel
  • Able to attend a minimum of 6 Saturday workshops per year
  • Energetic, friendly, and a self starter
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be proactive and take the lead on any given project
  • Have a passion for addressing the overpopulation of feral cats in the GTA
  • Basic understanding and knowledge of TNR is an asset
  • Must be able to commit 5 -10 hours of your time per month

Fundraiser

Are you a fundraising professional? Are you passionate about addressing cat overpopulation in Toronto and beyond? Use your skills to help us plan and execute a few creative fundraising events per year that will help to sustain the organization. Requirements:

  • Fundraising Certificate or professional experience
  • Energetic and creative
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be proactive and take the lead on any given project
  • Must have a passion in addressing the overpopulation of feral cats in the GTA
  • Able to work with a team
  • Must be able to commit 5 -10 hours of your time per month

Social Media Team

Are you passionate about social media and helping community cats? Do you have background in marketing or an understanding of best social media practices? Join our team and help us reach more people with our message through Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and more.

Requirements:

  • Experience in community management and knowledge of social media best practices
  • Knowledge of Facebook Pages, Facebook groups, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn and Pinterest
  • Ability to work collaboratively and follow editorial calendar
  • Basic understand of TNR an asset, but we can train you
  • Must be able to commit a min. 3 hours per week to community management and content development
  • Ability to attend our fundraisers, workshops and other events
  • Ability to develop content strategy and run campaigns across multiple platforms

Videographer

Do you have experience producing professional videos for the web and a desire to help community cats? We want you to help us develop videos to promote our educational program, fund raise and bring awareness to Trap-Neuter-Return in Toronto.

Requirements:

  • Professional experience in film and video for web production
  • Basic understand of TNR an asset
  • A self-starter, able to take initiative and follow through with commitments
