September 2015 Workshop

Toronto Feral Cat Project’s September 2015 ‘Trap-Neuter-Return: How to Manage a Feral Cat Colony’ workshop will be held at the Ontario Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (OSPCA) in Newmarket, ON.

The OSPCA is a proud member of the Toronto Feral Cat Coalition, working to humanely address Toronto’s cat overpopulation through Trap-Neuter-Return.

Learn how to care for the homeless outdoor cats in your neighbourhood. All steps in setting up a managed colony will be covered, including:

  • trapping
  • feeding
  • sheltering
  • getting the cats fixed
  • working with neighbours

Written materials will be provided and techniques demonstrated. Toronto caretakers who attend the workshop, will be eligible for access to the new Toronto Animal Services (TAS) & Toronto Humane Society (THS) free spay/neuter clinics for ferals, equipment loans, expert advice and more! If you live outside of Toronto, services at Toronto Street Cats Spay Neuter Clinic and Toronto Humane Society are still available for your ferals.

Cost: $20

Payment is due at the time of registration. We accept credit card and Paypal account. A Paypal account is not required.
